WELCOME. You are about to enter DIGITAL SIPARIO ( Digital Curtain), a multimedia data base that - via a simple query interface - allows you to search and play the videos of some performances staged by the La Fenice Theatre in the last few years.

Digital Sipario is a project done in collaboration with the IBM Italy Foundation and is supported by the IBM technology partnership.

The purpose is to digitalize in very high resolution, store and manage the artistic production of La Fenice, in order to preserve it from time deterioration, as well as to offer the possibility to access the video content and the related information to students, music and opera amateurs, researchers
